A Long Weekend

Queen Elizabeth 2.0 was born on 21 April 1926 but her birthday is celebrated in Oz on the second Monday in June. Today is therefore a public holiday. Happy Birthday Your Majesty.

Although I support the view that Oz should be a republic, I am the first to admit that Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, has dpne a superb job as monarch.
