SOME PICS OF CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT OF YESTERYEAR

A few days ago I posted an instalment of Remember These?. That was a collection of images of bygone items and things remembered from childhood, including some risky payground equipment.

Here are pics of items of playground equipment that will have you wondering how any of the children from those even earlier days made it into adulthood.  Some are unbelievable.

These are from the US but early English and Australian playground equipment was similar.

By the way, the child on the left is not falling, you can see ropes or chains that prove he’s just on a swing.
