Kerning Fails

Last week we had a bit of fun with fonts.

This week it is with kerning.

In typography, kerning is the process of adjusting the spacing between characters in a proportional font, usually to achieve a visually pleasing result. Kerning adjusts the space between individual letter forms. Hence:


Not everyone appreciates that sometime letters should be spaced appropriately to obtain a more aesthetic result, or to avoid a disaster. Despite best intentions, kerning glitches slip through, the result of inappropriate spacing or the selection of a font that made it worse . . .








This should have read Bull Titan US

I love this one.

















Should have used a capital A on Aunt

And a tip for parents. . . don't name your son Clint or Curt . . .
