Someone once said that “The best camera in the world is the one you have with you at the time.” These days most people have a camera with them all the time via their telephone.
For the last 7 years the iPhone Photography Awards (known as the IPPAWARDS) are given in a range of categories for photographs taken with a phone camera. This year’s awards, the eighth such presentation, covered submissions from 17 countries.
The categories are Animals, Architecture, Children, Flowers, Food, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, News/Events, Others, People, Seasons, Still Life, Sunset, Travel and Trees. Photos need to have been taken with an iPhone, iPod or iPad and cannot have been edited on any way by desktop software.
