Curiosity rover, NASA’s most recent robotic,
nuclear-powered Mars rover, successfully landed on Mars on 6 August 2012. It is a car-sized mobile scientific laboratory
and it landed in Gale Crater, less than 2.4km from its target after a journey
of 563,270,400 km. Mars rover was
launched on 26 November 2011.
